Join us for our first Backpacking Trip of the sweet Summer Season! We will be heading into the glory of the McGregor Range.

Come take on one of the 7 Summits of Prince George with us and bliss out on this epic Northern BC beaut…. with brilliant terrain…alpine meadows… gorgeous wildflowers & a ridge-line that will stop you in your tracks. It’s one of our favs. The flowers…. we dream of these flowers on wet, grey winter days….

We will follow an in and out trail and cover roughly 15.3 km total. It’s approx. 6.5 km and 1,400 meters elevation gain to where we will make camp for the night, be prepared to work for it. But trust us- the payoff is high with this one.

During guided hikes your hiking guide sets the pace, prompts scheduled breaks for snacks, water & beauty appreciation moments. Your guide will also cover local history, flora, fauna, animal habitats and go over animal awareness as well as hiking/route finding skills.

Rated – Moderate/ Hard with full pack. There’s some steep terrain and almost 1,200 meters of elevation gain. We suggest you are a confident hiking a full day prior to attending this trip. All cooking will take place in Cabin. There are also a couple sleeping bunks available in cabin for anyone who would prefer/ doesn’t have tenting gear.

• Gear for all elements (gloves, toque (for alpine) & Dress in synthetic layers – warmth, rain. heat, mosquitos!
• Hiking boots
• Bandana on pack (use for sweat or as tissue)
• Backpack & water (2L)
• Lunch x 2, Breakfast, Dinner, Snacks
• Gaiters (strongly recommended)
• Poles (strongly recommended)
• Pad or backpacking chair to sit on
• Bear spray if you have it, please no bear bells
• Tent
• Sleeping mat/ Sleeping Bag

• an apprentice ACMG Hiking Guide who has extensive knowledge of area, route, terrain & is equipped to keep you safe while you have an amazing time on your adventure

Cost $117 . Deposit of $50 due upon registration.

Refund Policy – Deposit of $50 is non-refundable unless Guided by Adventure has to cancel/change dates or due to safety or fire conditions. . Please note –  We do everything in the best of our abilities to provide an amazing experience for our guests however due to weather & safety restrictions we may, at times, not be able to reach summit or desired view with group.
