Come out for a fun and educational wander around the woods within in Penticton, BC. This session will go over the main functions of the GPS app Gaia which is used from your smart phone. We will go over features and then participants will get the chance to route find using Gaia.

Learn to….

• track your routes
• create your own routes
• understand and use the data from your saved routes
• locate and orient yourself on the map
• learn about different map layers (slope angle shading for winter terrain assessment)

We will also be touching on other GPS systems as well as emergency locators.
