This two hour worksop will take you from “Ive never been on my board before ” to feeling calm and confident cruising through flat water. Even if you have had some time on your board this is a great way to improve some skills and learn how to make the most out of your paddling adventures!

Every workshop is lead by certified Stand Up Paddling Instructors & starts with a dry land portion in which we go over some SUP history, board terminology, safety, launching, and getting on and off the board. We will cover paddling strokes, proper stance and trip planning. The workshop is always finished with a short lake cruise to allow some time to play around & test out your new skills!

We will be launching at one of our favourite lakes, Eena Lake. Eena Lake is a half hour NorthWest of town.

Meeting – Meeting at Eena lake around 5:30pm-   workshop starts at 6pm. These adventures run RAIN OR SHINE, we will only postpone due to wind or lighting risks.

What to pack – 

• Clothes appropriate for the weather that day, plus spares
• Towel
• Water
• Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses (leave the expensive ones at home ; )

• Guided paddle & skills instruction by certified SUP instructor
• Paddle Board
• PFD

If you have all of your own gear the cost is $45, without it is $60. We have limited boards so once they are rented then you can still participate as long as you have your own board.

Refund Policy – Due to the nature of outdoor adventure and that we have many upfront costs, all day adventures are non refundable within 48 hours of trip. However we can issue a credit for full amount that guest can use to a future adventure. We do everything in the best of our abilities to provide an amazing experience however due to weather & safety restrictions we may, at times, not be able to reach summit or desired view with group.
