Come out for a fun and educational wander around Shane Lake Loop. This session will go over the main functions of the GPS app Gaia which is used form your smart phone.

Learn to….

• track your routes
• create your own routes
• understand and use the data from your saved routes
• locate and orient yourself on the map
• learn about different map layers (slope angle shading for winter terrain assessment)

We will also be touching on other GPS systems as well as emergency locators.
