SUMMARY:Paddle Social & Skills - June 11th\, 2024
DESCRIPTION:Come out for the evening to refresh your stand up paddling skills\, learn new tricks and meet some other paddlers. This is open to all levels and you are welcome to come with your questions on SUP specific skills & anything you would like to work on. This will be a casual big group paddle and those who want to practice skills are encouraged to or you can just come out to meet with other folks and enjoy a sunny evening paddle.\nSkill development –  \n\nlaunching from shore on your SUP\nproper forward stroke\ngetting on & off you board in the water\npartner rescue\n\n  \nAs this is not a SUP course we will just be refreshing and touching on these skills and have some fun learning a few advanced SUP techniques. Life jacket mandatory. \nMeeting – \nBuckhorn Lake. Buckhorn Lake is located south of Prince George\, at the Buckhorn Rec site.. Paddle will start at 6pm. We will be set up by 5:30 for anyone that wants to come hang out and be social prior to paddle!  Email sent to participants 48 hours prior to event.
