DESCRIPTION:Ready to add some excitement and exploration onto your Okanagan escape? We’ve got you covered with epic hiking trips across the stunning Okanagan. Pick your date\, and we’ll chat about your dream trail\, difficulty level\, and duration\, crafting a legendary OKNG adventure day for you and your crew!\nWhat’s Included: \n\nGuided Hike with certified hiking guide\nLocal interpretation for area you are hiking\nCharcuterie mountain side\, prepared\, packed and set up by your guide\nTransportation can be provided for up to three guests. We can organize transpiration for bigger groups however transportation rates will apply\nSnacks & refreshments\n\n  \nRates: \n$135 per person\, minimum 3 people to book spot. DESCRIPTION:Correction – the date for this workshop is may 21st\nCome out for a fun and educational wander around the woods within in Penticton\, BC. This session will go over the main functions of the GPS app Gaia which is used from your smart phone. We will go over features and then participants will get the chance to route find using Gaia.\nLearn to…. \n\ntrack your routes\ncreate your own routes\nunderstand and use the data from your saved routes\nlocate and orient yourself on the map\nlearn about different map layers (slope angle shading for winter terrain assessment)\n\nWe will also be touching on other GPS systems as well as emergency locators. \n  \nMeeting –  \nEmail sent with location info. SUMMARY:Bears & BBQ - Goodsir Nature Park Fundraiser - May 30th
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday May 30th from 6-8pm as we get together for some bear awareness training and bbq as we raise funds for Jim and his wonderful park. Jim has been a big supporter of us from the start and has allowed us to host many of our adventures on his property throughout the years. He is always there with a welcome smile and a passion to show off his wonderful park. Visitors and donations have been low and Jim has been struggling with some health issues so are hosting this event as fundraiser with all proceeds going back to Jim and Goodsir. The event will be taking place at Goodsir Nature Park\, north of Prince George\, BC.\nBear Awareness – We will be hosting a shortened version of our bear awareness workshop. Learn about bear signs\, how to be prepared when hiking through bear country and get the chance to discharge an inert bear spray.\nPost workshop we will be hosting a casual social with bbq hotdogs and snacks. Everyone welcome\, We will not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions but you are welcome to bring your own food and join in. Full ticket price (minus the cost for the inert spray) will be donated Jim.\nNO PRE EVENT EMAILS SENT FOR THIS EVENT….PLEASE MEET OUT AT GOODSIR NATURE PARK\, EVENT STARTS AT 6PM \nCancellation policy –  This ticket is non refundable and If we have to cancel due to weather the full amount of ticket will be given to Jim as a donation and ticket holders will be issued a credit for the full amount to be used for a future Guided By Adventure event. \n
