DESCRIPTION:This will be an evening session for some intro to lead climbing skill building. Our ACMG Guide Andrew will cover lead climbing intro steps\, decision making\, common mistakes and help to set yourself up for success with the next progression of your rock climbing journey!\nThis will be held in Prince George at one of our local crags. This session is for climbers with outdoor experience looking to gain more knowledge on any of the items listed above or have technical questions they would like to review with a rock guide.\nTime – 6pm – 9pm. Gear provided.\nSpace is limited\, email sent out closer to session date with meet up info. Course is non refundable but can be transferred.

Even if you have experience outdoor rock climbing\, spending two days learning from an ACMG Guide is invaluable and we hope you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn & grow your skills.\nThis is a two-day intro course focused on having fun and jumpstarting your skills in a safe and engaging environment! Learn from friendly and knowledgeable ACMG Guides:\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClimbing Techniques\n\n\nBelaying and Rope Management\n\n\nRappelling\n\n\nTop Rope Anchors\n\n\nGuide Book Navigation\n\n\nHazard recognition\n\n\nThis course is designed for beginners and is aimed at having a fun and safe introduction while building the required skills necessary to go Top-Rope Climbing on your own with your friends or family.\nTopics covered on this course include hazard management at the crag\, the basics of movement on outdoor rock\, effective belay techniques in an outdoor environment\, top rope rock climbing belays and lowers.\nDeveloping these skills early on will allow you to progress at a quicker rate and you will find climbing much more rewarding. You will be taught and coached by an ACMG guide delivering our well-established curriculum. Like any technical sport\, learning the proper skills and techniques early on will ensure you develop good habits and have endless opportunities to continue to progress in the exciting sport of outdoor rock climbing. \nThe focus of this course is having fun while learning and getting mileage on the rock with the help of ACMG guides! There are only 8 spots available for this course. The cost per person is $350\, payment plans available. All gear is included in course fee & can be provided if you do not have your own. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our SECOND annual Sunsets\, Songs & Sips!!!\nWe will meet at Nukko Lake Community centre and launch our kayaks\, SUPs\, canoes from there. As you paddle along the lake you will be serenaded by sweet acoustic music bouncing off the lake! This year we have a very special guest coming to us all the way from the plains of Manitoba! Terri Marie will swoon you with her goosebump inducing vocals\, playing all your country and blues favs while you bliss out on the beautiful sunset!\nThe paddle will be roughly 1.5-2 hours long. With your ticket send in a song you would love to hear and you might just have your jute box dreams come true!\nWhats Included?\n\nLive music performed by Terri Marie (Country\, Blues\, Folk\, MB)\nAdult or non alcoholic beverage\nTasty treat\nGuided By Sticker\nEntry in prize draw (i think i heard Guided By has some sweet new Merch?!?!?!)\n\n  \n  \n*****An email will be sent to all guests prior to event with meet up directions and any last minute details.
