DESCRIPTION:Join us for an unforgettable weekend filled with paddling\, camping\, hiking\, delicious food\, and fantastic company! Valemount is nestled in a valley surrounded by three major mountain ranges: the Cariboo\, Columbia\, and Rocky Mountains. The breathtaking views in every direction will be experienced from both land and lake! We will be enjoying front country camping just outside of Valemount\, so be sure to pack your tent and sleeping bag. After a long day of hiking\, nothing beats a cold shower and a beer around the campfire.\nOn Friday\, arrive at your convenience and set up camp. We’ll embark on a short hike around 7 PM.\nSaturday kicks off with breakfast\, lunch prep\, gear checks\, and then we’ll set out for the highlight of the weekend – an exclusive backcountry hike. We can’t reveal the name of this lesser-known\, off-trail adventure because we want to keep it a secret. What we can share is that it’s a wild and exhilarating experience\, rated as moderate to hard\, covering approximately 13 km round trip with an elevation gain of over 600 meters\, leading to some of the most stunning and awe-inspiring views! \nClassic campfire favorites like charades and storytelling\, will round out the evenings. Don’t forget to bring along your musical instruments if you play – a guitar or your recorder from elementary school can add a special touch to the campfire atmosphere.\nOn Sunday\, after a hearty breakfast\, we’ll offer an optional paddling excursion on Kinbasket Lake. This serene paddle is a perfect way to unwind and soak in the last of the majestic mountain views before we pack up and head home. Whether you’re an experienced paddler or new to paddling\, our guides will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.\nThis weekend getaway is not just about adventure but also about forging new friendships and making memories that will last a lifetime. So pack your gear\, your sense of adventure\, and join us for this unforgettable escape into nature. A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required to secure your spot\, after which an invoice for the remaining balance will be sent via email. While we prefer payments to be made via bank transfer\, credit card payments can be accommodated with a small processing fee. \nPlease note that the trip is refundable up to two months prior to the date (June 8th\, 2025). After this date\, refunds will no longer be available\, but you may transfer your reservation to another person or receive a partial credit to be applied toward future adventures.
