DESCRIPTION:🌲 THIRD Annual Little Hiking Festival\nJune 19th–21st\, 2026 · Wells\, B.C.\nJoin us for the THIRD annual Little Hiking Festival — a weekend rooted in mountains\, movement\, and meaningful connection.\nAs always\, we’re gathering in beautiful Wells\, B.C. We chose Wells because it makes the weekend easy and intentional: a small mountain town where everything is close\, trailheads are just minutes away\, and community spaces naturally bring people together for meals\, music\, and workshops.\nThe mountains of the Cariboos are wild\, rugged\, and meant for adventure.\nThe Little Hiking Festival is a celebration of doing hard things with good people. A community of like-minded humans coming together around a shared love of nature\, challenge\, and movement in the mountains.\nLet’s bring the hiking community together for an epic weekend of hiking\, music\, good food\, hangs\, and workshops\, the kind of weekend that fills your cup and leaves your legs tired in the best way.\n\nKids 12 under are free. Just grab ticket child ticket below.\nWells locals discounted price!  \nWhats included with the full weekend pass –  \n\nWorkshops start at 11am on Friday June 19th (bear awareness\, intro to GAIA GPS\, foraging) please note these may change closer to date\nOpening celebrations/registration – 5pm – 7pm pm Friday June 19th\nChoose from multiple different hike options Saturday\nLive music Saturday night\nPancake Breakfast Sunday\nGroup yoga sessions outside Sunday – ending around 12pm\n\nAdd on group dinner Saturday – optional. \nWe will have hikes running for all fitness/activity levels. Whether you want to spend the day gaining all the elevation and stretching your legs over a good distance or just taking an easy stroll above the townsite\,  there will be a hike for everyone! We will have three(maybe more) hikes running on the Saturday and we want you to choose the hike that matches the kind of day you want in the mountains! \nForest Wander (formerly Easy)A relaxed\, social hike designed to soak in the surroundings.\nWhat to expect: \n\n\nMostly gentle grades on well-defined trails \n\n\nFrequent pauses to enjoy views\, plants\, and stories along the way \n\n\nShorter distance and slower pace \n\n\nPerfect for new hikers\, families\, or anyone wanting a mindful mountain day \n\n\n\nAlpine Explorer (formerly Moderate)A classic mountain adventure with a bit of effort and a lot of reward.\nWhat to expect: \n\n\nSteady climbing and varied terrain \n\n\nModerate distance at a conversational pace \n\n\nOccasional roots\, rocks\, or uneven sections \n\n\nBest for hikers who are comfortable being active for a few hours\, gain elevation and handle the strain of hiking down steep terrain \n\n\n\nSummit Seeker (formerly Hard)For those who love earning their views.\nWhat to expect: \n\n\nSustained elevation gain and a quicker pace \n\n\nLonger distance with minimal stops \n\n\nSteep\, rugged\, or technical sections \n\n\nDesigned for experienced hikers who are confident on mountain terrain \n\n\n  \nPlease see below for accommodation options. Please note camping/lodging is not included in ticket price and is the responsibility of ticket holder to organize. We have gathered a list of all of the camp sites and hotels in Wells below. Please contact asap to reserve your spot for the weekend. Wells is a small town and  the campground linked is less then a 5 minute drive. The only site that is out of town is beckers lodge/bowron lake. All of the pre and post hike events will be held around the townsite of Wells.\n*If you are flying upon north for this adventure the closest airports are located in Prince George (2 hours away) or Quesnel (1 hour away) \nWELLS\, B.C. This year the food will be served at our festival ground meeting space. We will have tables and chairs set up at this outdoor area with music\, food\, refreshments and activities. We are keeping everything more central this year so that everyone can take part in dining together if they choose. If you do not wish to purchase this dinner option you are welcome to bring your own food and come dine with the group. \n  \nRefund/cancellation Policy –   Tickets are refundable up until april 1st 2026. After this date they are non refundable however the ticket holder is able to transfer/sell the ticket themselves. The festival will NOT be cancelled due to rain/snow/bugs etc. If the festival is cancelled due to fires or smoke the tickets WILL be refunded less a $5 service fee. All tickets are to be paid through e transfer to guidedbyadventurepg@gmail.com. Payment plans can be made\, please request via email.\n  \nThis year tickets will be $95+gst per person. We have tried to keep tickets as low as possible but as we were unable to receive funding last year we do need to increase costs so that this can continue to run and grow. If you would like to attend but cannot afford the ticket fee please reach out to us for assistance. It is important to us that we make this accessible to everyone and will find something that works for you.
