This guided overnight adventure is the perfect introduction to winter camping — with the comfort of a cozy cabin waiting at the end of the trail. We’ll snowshoe 5km through a peaceful\, snow-covered forest and along nordic trails to reach Martin’s Pass Cabin\, a charming backcountry hut tucked in the hills above Wells\, BC.\nAnd for those curious about winter camping skills\, we’ll get hands-on! You’ll help build a quinzee (a snow shelter)\, learn the basics of snow structure safety\, practice camp kitchen setup\, and get comfortable with the core skills needed for future winter camping adventures. It’s the best mix of cozy comfort and real winter learning — all in one unforgettable Cariboo backcountry weekend.\nWe will be meeting in Wells B.C at 9:30am on Saturday March 13th.
