Okanagan Getaway- May 16th-19th, 2025
May 16 @ 5:00 pm - May 19 @ 10:00 am
Join us for a spring getaway to the beautiful Okanagan. This is another trip in our series of Bucket List adventures. Canyon Repelling. YUP! Let’s gooooo!!!!
The Okanagan is an incredible region nestled in the interior of BC. Though best known for wineries and fruit orchards- the Okanagan is home to stunning and unique geography. With cacti, white cliffs, and legit slot canyons- this desert-esque area is worthy of the wanderlust.
Day 1: Arrive at your beach front hotel in Penticton, BC. Get settled. Go for a stunning micro hike with your guides to stretch the legs. Return to Okanagan Lake (like…right in front of your hotel. right!?) for fireside pizza and an optional illuminated evening paddle. Lake faring vessels provided.
Day 2: HIKE DAY!! You know it. You love it. This is where we work up our local brewery thirst! Moderate level hike in the Okanagan Region led by ACMG hiking guide. What does moderate mean? 10-15km of distance with approx. 600m of elevation gain.
Day 3: BUCKET LIST DAY! CANYONING! This takes chasing waterfalls to a whole new level. This half day adventure will have us jumping in pools, repelling down waterfalls, and exploring this wild landscape led by expert guides from our friends at Western Cayoning Adventures. After this half day adventure we’ll head back to our Hotel for a group meal. Expect some beautiful Okanagan offerings on our way, I mean… we are in wine country.
