We will be heading to the Sugarbowl – Grizzly Den Provincial Park for this wicked adventure. This trip will start along the Grizzly Den trail…the start is a easy and gentle climb as we begin our ascent. With every backpacking trip we have set breaks, slow & steady pace and make the climb up a fun and rewarding journey. The hike to the first camp spot is roughly 6 km, gaining 555 metres of elevation. Once camp is set its time to relax. Post dinner we can go for a backpack-less wander up the ridge behind Grizzly Den & catch an end of summer sunset.

Day two we will be making the trek up to Patts Pass and over to Raven Lake. We will cover around 5 km and gaining roughly 300 metres of elevation prior to descending down to camp along side Raven Lake. On the last day we will take our time enjoying breakfast and taking in the last alpine views. The descent for the day will be 5km.

You get to show up & enjoy your adventure vacation as we take care of all the details from safety, camp arrangement, camp kitchen set up, transportation & guiding. Every guest will receive an itinerary & gear list closer to adventure date.

Activity Level/Rating – Moderate, we recommend you have completed multiple day hikes prior to coming on this adventure. If this is something you want to work up to please reach out and we will suggest some prior hikes to come on to get you prepared for this Adventure. There is no technical terrain throughout the backpacking trip and it is great for all levels.

Option 2) Don’t have your full set up yet, not sure about food choices…. let us take care of all that for you with our all-inclusive package. Must have proper day hiking gear (boots, water bladder etc)

Have most of what you need but not quite everything? Rent pieces from us & or add on backcountry meals to your all set package. A non refundable deposit of $50 is required at time of registration. Total balance due by July 18th 2023, payment plans available

Refund Policy – Deposit is non refundable unless The Adventure Bus has to cancel/change dates or due to safety or covid restrictions. Remainder due 4 weeks out, which is refundable until 2 weeks out at which time funds are no longer refundable but can be used as a credit towards another adventure. Please note –  We do everything in the best of our abilities to provide an amazing experience for our guests however due to weather & safety restrictions we may, at times, not be able to reach summit or desired view with group.
